We operate out of Broad
Creek Marina which is on Marshland Road one mile from the Cross Island
Parkway toll plaza and 2 miles from the Old Oyster Factory Restaurant. Broad
Creek Marina is probably the smallest marina on the Island and has a dry
stack storage for smaller boats. The thing that I enjoy the most is talking
to the people during the trip. We have been doing this for over 20 years and
we are very knowledgeable of the surrounding nature and the area that we
boat in and have lots of interesting stories to tell while under way as I do
the narrating also.
We have about 500 dolphins in the general area from Savannah to Beaufort and we do have names for several of them. The dolphin I love the best is one I call Dolly. I have seen her for years, and she usually comes up to the boat for a visit if we see her during the cruise. Celebrate almost any occasion with us, private weddings, rehearsal dinners, church groups, company parties, school trips, family reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, class reunions, theme parties, presentations and much more. Just give us a call or send us an email if you have a special occasion you would like to celebrate with us. There are NO GATE FEES and plenty of FREE parking under the 200 year old live oak trees. As you walk down our 700 foot dock across the marsh to the boats you will observe oyster beds, crabs, spratina grass, wading birds. We cruise down beautiful Broad Creek and see Mink, Otter, Osprey, Sea Turtles, Herons, Egrets, Pelicans, Cormorants, Oyster Catchers, Bald Eagles, Wood Storks and other shore birds. If you are a bird or nature lover, this is the trip for you. Several times this summer we saw Manatees right at our dock.
