S.S. Pelican

The SS Pelican is a ex-navy motor whale boat that was on board a destroyer tender named the USS Yellowstone and saw service in Vietnam and was sold off after being decommissioned. She was mostly used to get sailors back and forth between ship and shore and a life boat. She is 26 ft. long and is powered by a 54 hp perkins diesel engine. She is a coast guard inspected vessel for 20 passengers. |
